Workspaces :: Designing for Success

Workspaces have a remarkable impact on employees and are critical to success. The way we work is changing and is becoming more complex, collaborative, time sensitive and technologically intensive, thus placing more demands on the work environment.  The workplace needs to foster culture, collaboration and networking, while still providing space to focus.  Layout and design are used in many ways to help foster a good working environment and one that meets employees’ needs.  A few things to consider in office design::
Collaboration centric layouts help spur creativity and discussion. High traffic zones that flow in to collaboration zones allow for impromptu meetings.

Benching systems with minimal visual barriers opposed to closed off cubicles.

Desking systems with the ability to reconfigure and adapt to changing business needs, while curbing real estate cost.

Access to natural daylight creates a healthy working environment.
